The last day London West will be available for use is 23 November 2018. Prior to this date it’s crucial that customers reconfigure their connections to use the new VIP in Middlesex. No action is required for customers using connectivity methods that rely on DNS or Symantec’s Cloud Traffic Controller such as Unified Agent or Proxy connections to proxy.threatpulse.net. These connections will automatically be switched over to use the Middlesex data center at the appropriate time.
Action required If connectivity to the Web Security Service is behind stringent firewall rules, firewall rules may need to be adjusted to allow traffic to pass to the service. Please ensure that these new networks are added to yours or vendors’ ACLs to ensure WSS traffic is unencumbered.
IPSec connected customers are requested to connect to the new VIP when it is available as the existing (old) VIP will be available only 60 days after the new VIP is online.
