We confirm that the emergency change to trust the new TLS certificate Visa is presenting has now been rolled out on our silos and we confirm that with this change , we see the challenge success percentage for Visa EMV3DS transaction has now been restored for all our silos. We have also received an update from Visa that there were certificate related changes which were made on their side which caused this issue. With this update we confirm that the incident stands resolved.

Our internal team have finalized the emergency change to trust the new / changed TLS certificate Visa is presenting and we are progressing with this change on all silos to see if this would be restoring the challenge success rate for Visa EMV3DS transactions. We are exploring options internally to see if an emergency change ticket is feasible to trust the new / changed TLS certificate Visa is presenting now in order to help restore the service in the meantime. We confirm that at this point the challenge success rate for Visa EMV3DS transactions continues to be impacted. The cause of failure appears to be TLS certificate mismatch for the ACS to Visa Directory Server connectivity during RReq cycle. We have reached out to Visa highlighting the need for urgent attention and are waiting to hear back from them. We shall get back to you with a next update by 07:30 AM GMT.

We have been alerted of a drop in EMV3DS challenge success rate for Visa transactions. The problem appears to have started at 0544 GMT today and our teams are currently on an incident response call working toward recovery.

3DS 1.0.2 transactions and transactions for other schemes are not impacted.
