Broadcom will perform maintenance on Email Security.cloud infrastructure on October 2, 2023 beginning at 08:00 UTC for a duration of 24 hours. Email Security.cloud will be enabling DNSSec on the messagelabs.com domain on October 2, 2023.
Domain Name System Security Extensions (DNSSEC) is a service that adds a layer of authentication to DNS records by signing them with public keys. This service was introduced to combat 'man-in-the-middle' attacks.
With this release we have protected our domain messagelabs.com against cache poisoning and answer forgery. This is a precautionary measure that makes it harder for an attacker to impersonate our infrastructure. It also helps customers to meet their regulatory requirements.
There should be no impact on service with this release.
