At this point Arcot confirms that its vendor teams were able to perform recovery actions to restore the service.

Impact: Arcot confirms that the elevated rate in challenge transaction failures observed earlier now stands resolved and cardholders would be able to carry out their transactions without any issues. Admin Console availability has also been restored.

Arcot continues to stay focused on transaction health monitoring and shall get back to you with the next update by 15:45 HRS GMT.

Arcot has started bringing in the planned changes in its network layer and is observing gradual improvements in the challenge success rate for transactions. Arcot would be able to share more updates on the progress in the next update at 1530 HRS GMT.

Investigating

Arcot monitoring has detected an elevated rate of challenge transaction failures. Our internal teams are engaged at this point who are investigating and also working on service recovery on priority.

Impact: Transactions that do not require a challenge step (frictionless) will not be impacted. The cardholder may experience increased latency while being challenged causing the cardholder to abandon the purchase or an error in the challenge window will be presented.
