Arcot monitoring detected an elevated rate of challenge transaction failures between 00:18 GMT and 00:27 GMT. Internal teams were able to restore the service and we no longer notice higher-than-usual transaction failures for challenge transactions.
Impact: Transactions that do not require a challenge step (frictionless) were not affected. The cardholder might have experienced an increased latency while being challenged causing the cardholder to abandon the purchase or an error in the challenge window will be presented.
