Email Security.cloud will decommission infrastructure in the Mumbai and Hyderabad data center locations in India on October 11, 2024. The existing customers currently being served by the India data centers will be transitioned to our data centers hosted in the United States.

Required Action

• There are no anticipated actions for our existing India data center customers to take before the decommissioning. Customers with mx records pointing to cluster1a.in.messagelabs.com and cluster1.in.messagelabs.com will automatically be directed to US-hosted infrastructure after the change.
• Customers who have pointed mx records to specific IP addresses may experience connectivity issues when infrastructure is decommissioned or changed. These customers should always use the recommended Messagelabs hostnames instead of using specific IP addresses.
