Impact There will be no impact for Email Security.cloud customers using Echoworx Encryption. All aspects of our service will continue to function as normal.

Notable improvements • Passwordless login for the recipient Web Portal

Passwordless login is an authentication method in which a user can log in to the Portal using a PIN or Biometric (fingerprint or Face ID) on a FIDO2-compatible device such as a Windows 10 laptop or a mobile device, or a hardware authenticator such as a YubiKey. Passwordless login is based on WebAuthn (or Web Authentication) which is the browser standard and API for authenticating users to web-based applications and services using public-key cryptography. The passwordless login feature is enabled on request so let us know if you are interested.

• Added Message Status link for pending PDFs

The sender-facing Message Encrypted notification has been enhanced for PDF pending messages to include the message status link. The notification can be customized and allows viewing message status and recalling PDF messages that are in pending status.

• Synced user locale across delivery methods

When a registered recipient that has both Portal and PDF accounts changes their locale through their web portal account, their locale in the PDF portal will be updated automatically, and vice versa.

• Enhanced layout of notification emails

The layout of message information displayed in the notification emails has been enhanced for better alignment and readability.

• Secure PDF Messages with inline HTML body content that exceeds 10MB are instead delivered as a Secure PDF with plain-text formatting

This is necessary because converting large HTML-formatted content to PDF may degrade performance and cause delivery failures due to the size of the converted PDF.
