Broadcom is proud to announce the immediate general availability of WSS Agent 8.3.1.

To download this version, sign into the Cloud SWG portal and navigate to Connectivity > WSS Agent. The download is available in the Maintenance Release(s) portion of the Installers section.

Version 8.3.1 will be promoted to the “Recommended Release” on February 14, 2023.

Features and Improvements

• Publishes current intercept mode via a new registry entry “x-interceptMode”
• Adds support for Enhanced CTC
• Stability improvements

Supported Environments

• 64-bit Windows 10 version 19H2 and later (Semi-Annual Servicing Channel) - including Windows 11
• macOS Catalina and later - including macOS Ventura

Impact

• Existing users will be prompted to upgrade to version 8.3.1 on February 14, 2023 if configured to do so in the Cloud SWG portal.
• If using SAML on Windows devices, Microsoft Webview2 is required. Refer to the following KB article for more information: https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article/233577.
