This release of VIP Authentication Services contains the following new features:
- More user variables added to customizable emails
- New APIs added to the VIP Authentication Services REST APIs
- Renewed SSL certificates in VIP Authentication Services
- Third-party libraries identified as vulnerable in the previous release of Symantec VIP have been upgraded to mitigate security risks in external components
- Other technical improvements and security upgrades
Symantec will update this message with a link to the release documentation closer to the actual release date.
Impact
There is no expected downtime and end users should experience no changes when using VIP.
