Arcot's monitoring had detected a drop in incoming AREQ from all card schemes during Arcot's monthly maintenance for May 2023. This drop in transaction processing was noticed from 02:40:41 GMT to 02:44:02 GMT. Our internal teams were engaged during the monthly maintenance and were able to take recovery measures.

Impact: Transactions might have experienced increased latency with the Arcot ACS resulting in increased directory server timeouts and Incomplete, or Unavailable Authentications. The cardholders might have experienced failures in attempting to make purchases. If 'Attempts' processing was not available for these transactions, it was likely that the cardholder might had been prompted for another payment method.
