Cloud Web Security Service Upgrade Notification As a part of an upcoming service release, the Cloud WSS will transition your administrative login credentials to an improved authentication security system – Symantec Secure Login. This change will increase the security of the management portal by improving password requirements, and introducing multi-factor authentication capabilities. And since Symantec Secure Login is used by other products & services, if you already have access other Symantec services (e.g. MySymantec for product support) you’ll start using the same credentials to access the Cloud WSS portal. If you have received this message before, your account has already been migrated and you can ignore this notice.

What to expect: All customer accounts are being scheduled for the transition to Symantec Secure Login. Your Cloud WSS account has been identified for inclusion in the next transitioning group. This change is currently scheduled for July 16th, 2018.

During your next login attempt (On or after July 16th), when you enter your credentials, rather than being granted access to the Cloud WSS portal immediately, you’ll be directed to complete your Symantec Secure Login registration. This involves checking your email for a service invitation.

Upon clicking the link in the e-mail, you’ll be directed to the Symantec Secure Login portal, where you’ll either enter your existing Symantec Secure Login credentials, or complete your new registration. Once complete, you’ll be redirected to the Cloud WSS portal to continue using the service. All future logins will use your Symantec Secure Login credentials.
