[Action Required] Cloud SWG: Shanghai and Beijing (ACNSH and ACNBJ) Data Center Maintenance September 23, 2024

Broadcom will perform general maintenance to the Cloud SWG service in Shanghai (ACNSH) and Beijing (ACNBJ) Data Centers. During this maintenance, all services will remain operational and available. The maintenance window will run on September 23, 2026 between 18:00 and 06:00 local Data Centers time.

Carefully review the information below to avoid disruption of service.

Required Action prior to September 23rd

Failure to make these changes could prevent users from connecting to Cloud SWG, accessing third party web applications, or authenticating against the service using the Auth Connector (where applicable).

  • IPsec: No customer action is required.
  • WSS Agent, Symantec Enterprise Agent: Agent traffic will be automatically redirected to active data pods within the same data center. No customer action is required.
  • Explicit proxy and proxy forwarding: Customers directing traffic to proxy.wss.broadcom.cn or cn.proxy.wss.broadcom.cn will be automatically redirected to active data pods within the same data center. replacement POP.

    • Customers directing traffic to acnsh2-vip[1-6].wss.broadcom.cn need to change to acnsh1-vip[1-6].wss.broadcom.cn. Additionally, customers directing traffic to acnsh2-backup-vip[1-6].wss.broadcom.cn need to change to acnsh1-backup-vip[1-6].wss.broadcom.cn.
    • Customers directing traffic to acnbj2-vip[1-6].wss.broadcom.cn need to change to acnbj1-vip[1-6].wss.broadcom.cn. Additionally, customers directing traffic to acnbj2-backup-vip[1-6].wss.broadcom.cn need to change to acnbj1-backup-vip[1-6].wss.broadcom.cn.
  • Regardless of connection method, any configuration pointing to a specific POP hostname or IP address (not recommended) must be manually switched to the replacement POP prior to the decommissioning date to avoid an outage.
