Arcot monitoring detected a drop in incoming transactions from the Mastercard card scheme on 19 January 2026, between 03:36 GMT and 03:50 GMT. Arcot promptly engaged with its vendors and Mastercard to investigate the issue. Mastercard subsequently confirmed that the disruption was caused by an issue on their side, which is currently being tracked and investigated under Incident Ticket INC000000537822.
Impact: During this period, transaction processing may have experienced increased latency when interacting with the Arcot ACS. This could have resulted in elevated directory server timeouts and incomplete or unavailable authentication responses. As a result, cardholders may have encountered failures while attempting to complete purchase transactions.
