Web Security Service Release Announcement

The scheduled maintenance has been completed.

Symantec Web Security Service (WSS) will publish a new version of WSS Agent on August 27, 2021. This maintenance event will begin at 21:00 UTC, and last for a duration of 1 hour.

WSS Agent Updates

• WSS Agent 7.4.2 will replace 7.4.1, as the Maintenance Release. • WSS Agent 7.3.5 will remain the Recommended Release. • The 7.4.2 release contains support for new Localization Zones, which will be rolled out into the service infrastructure and communicated separately.

Impact

• During this maintenance event all services will remain operational and available. Portal access and Real-time traffic filtering will not be impacted by this maintenance.
