Drop in Incoming transaction requests (AREQ) from MasterCard

Arcot confirms that incoming transaction requests (AREQ) from Mastercard have returned to normal. Arcot continues to monitor transaction health and will follow up with Mastercard to obtain further details regarding the issue and their resolution steps.

This is a follow-up notification regarding the ongoing Mastercard directory server issue.

Mastercard has confirmed that their internal investigation remains actively in progress as their technical teams work toward a resolution. Arcot continues to stay closely engaged with Mastercard, monitoring the situation and tracking their recovery efforts.

Impact: The previously reported drop in incoming transaction requests persists. Due to this, cardholders will continue to experience transaction failures during authentication attempts.

We are closely monitoring the status and will provide the next update by 09:45 GMT.

At this point, Arcot received a confirmation from MasterCard about an issue their teams are working to resolve. Arcot continues to stay engaged with MasterCard asking for updates on the recovery.

Impact: The earlier noticed drop in incoming transaction requests from card scheme is still being observed and due to this cardholders would be noticing transaction failures while performing their transactions.

Arcot monitoring has detected a drop in incoming AREQ from Mastercard. Our internal teams are engaged at this point who are investigating and also reaching out to MasterCard to understand the cause.

Impact: Transactions may be experiencing increased latency with the Arcot ACS resulting in increased directory server timeouts and Incomplete, or Unavailable Authentications. The cardholders may experience failures in attempting to make purchases.
