In order to improve the resiliency of our recovery solution, the recommended Cloud SWG US backup locations will change, effective on November 9, 2026. Columbia, South Carolina (GUSCO) will be the new backup location for all US and Mexico Cloud SWG sites. GUSCO’s backup site which currently is Ashburn (GUSAS) remains unchanged.
Required Action prior to November 9, 2026
For all IPSec tunnels to the Cloud SWG locations in the US and Mexico, please update your IPSEC secondary tunnel location to GUSCO VIP.
GUSCO’s egress IP ranges:
For all access methods, including WSS and ESA Agents running active in an office location, firewall rules regulating connectivity to/from your network to Cloud SWG should be adjusted to allow traffic to pass to the replacement IP network listed above.
For proxy forwarding, please change any configuration to use GUSCO as a backup.
Impact
Failure to make these changes could prevent users from connecting to Cloud SWG, accessing third party web applications, or authenticating against the service using the Auth Connector (where applicable), in the event of a failover of one of the US sites to GUSCO.
