A final update on this incident.
Note that only customers logging into the app-05 application cluster were affected by this incident. During the period of Oct 25, 2018 05:00 ET to 05:55 ET some customers were unable to log in. Telemetry data continued to be processed normally. We identified the root cause related to a database performance issue which was resolved at around 05:55 ET. AppNeta operations team has been monitoring the system through the day and is confident that the issue has been resolved.

Systems are functioning normally again. and we do not expect any subsequent interruptions in the service. We will continue to monitor the operational state over the next several hours and will follow-up with another update.
We have identified performance issues impacting the app-05.pm.appneta.com application cluster. We are actively investigating the source of the outage and working towards a resolution.
