Update

Rally Customers,

As you know we have a scheduled maintenance window this weekend on Saturday May 22 12AM - 8AM (MT). We expect the maintenance to take the full 8 hours. This time will be used to complete the database architecture migration that we’ve been iteratively delivering since late 2020.

This will be the final step to migrate the primary read/write database to the new architecture. Most of the databases that already support our regular query load have been previously migrated and are providing a stable customer experience. As we have noted in prior updates we have invested a considerable amount of time and resource in ensuring that this is well tested. In the event that we experience performance or stability issues, we have developed several pro-active mitigation steps to troubleshoot as well as procedures to roll back in the event that we are unable to serve the core Rally experience. Additionally we will be staffing support and engineering teams to augment support for this over the weekend and to respond to issues that may arise over the coming days and weeks.

Greg Gould (Head of Product) Katy Groves (Head of Engineering)
