Cloud SWG UPE HRI Migration [Action Required]

Effective July 15, 2026, Broadcom will begin transitioning High Risk Isolation (HRI) UPE Cloud SWG tenants to the new consolidated Symantec Web Protection platform. This migration ensures continued access to the latest and greatest capabilities being released as a part of the consolidated offering.

The migration doesn’t require any user involvement and will not impact the existing security posture.

This per-tenant rollout is scheduled over a four-week period, with completion expected by August 15, 2026.

Be sure to review Consolidated SWG Policy: High Risk Isolation to familiarize yourself with the enhanced capabilities available to protect end users and enforce custom policies.

Required Actions After August 15, 2026

Once the maintenance window concludes and your tenant migration is complete, you must Push Policy via Management Center or select Activate Policy within the Cloud SWG portal to apply all migration changes. You can choose to do that immediately after the date (recommended) or as a part of any upcoming future policy change.
