High-Risk Isolation service update

Broadcom will perform maintenance on the High-Risk Isolation (HRI) service to improve stability and continue to optimize the service.

Timing

The maintenance window will run on July 28, 2024. All maintenance will occur between 13:00 and 21:00 UTC.

Impact

The activity only affects Cloud SWG customers who use High-Risk Isolation (no impact on dedicated Web Isolation tenants).

During this maintenance event, end users might experience a degradation of service on isolated sessions.

Broadcom will perform a maintenance activity on Web Isolation service for your tenant on July 28, 2024, starting at 13:00 UTC for a duration of 8 hours.

This service update is part of our continuous efforts to improve the functionality, reliability, and robustness of your cloud tenant and our platform.

Impact

  • During the maintenance period, the Web Isolation Portal may be temporarily inaccessible
  • Users' activity audits during the maintenance period may not be presented in the activity logs
  • End users might experience a degradation in service during the maintenance period
  • The maintenance activity requires the deployment of a new configuration. This results in any pending changes in the Management Portal being pushed as part of the activity (similar to the "PUSH SETTINGS..." button event)

Required Action

  • Review the Web Isolation Release Notes for the latest features, updates, and known issues
  • Symantec performs E2E tests and validations as part of the maintenance. However, customers are advised to perform sanity checks on their environment once the maintenance is completed
  • Verify you don't have any pending changes in the Management Portal (using the Management Audit Log) you wish to discard
  • Contact support in case a problem arises due to maintenance
