Cloud SWG: Web Isolation Maintenance May 21, 2023

Broadcom will renew the SSL certificates used by Web Isolation service on May 21, 2023. This service update is mandatory to ensure the proper functioning of the Web Isolation service.

The Maintenance will occur between 07:00 UTC and 13:00 UTC.

Impact

• The following SSL certificates will be renewed:
  • Zone CA - "isolation.wss.prod.fire.glass", issued by "Cloud Services CA - G2"
  • Server Certificate - "*.prod.fire.glass", issued by "DigiCert TLS RSA SHA256 2020 CA1"
• Tenants that use one or both of these certificates will have the related certificates renewed.
• There is no expected downtime or impact on end users or administrators.

Required Action

• No active action is required to trust the new certificates. The new certificates are issued by the same CAs as before.
• Symantec advises administrators to verify there isn't an explicit dependency for a specific certificate (which is considered bad practice).
