On Sunday, May 21, 2017 at approximately 13:00 PDT (21:00 GMT), VIP Services will be instantly routed to our California (MTV) HA data center and will remain there until Friday, June 2 at 13:00 PDT (21:00 GMT). This action is being taken to facilitate routine maintenance activities in the primary data center.

For environments utilizing DNS (i.e., using Symantec URLs built into VIP EG and components version 9.3 and later), no action is required. VIP services rely on Domain Name System (DNS) to deliver uninterrupted services to our customers for high availability activities as well as planned maintenance activities. As such, bypassing Symantec DNS and directing traffic to IP addresses is not in compliance with the overall VIP solution design.
