Broadcom is proud to announce the immediate general availability of WSS Agent 8.2.1.

To download this version, sign into the WSS Portal and navigate to Connectivity > WSS Agent. The download is available under the Maintenance Release portion of the Installers section.

Version 8.2.1 will be promoted to the “Recommended Release” on October 10, 2022.

Features and Improvements

• WSS Agent 8.2.1 does not provide any new features.
• In addition to stability and performance improvements, v8.2.1 resolves issues for macOS, SAML, CTC connections, and the Bypass List. For details, see Recent WSS Agent Releases.

Supported Environments

• 64-bit Windows 10 version 19H2 and later (Semi-Annual Servicing Channel) - including Windows 11
• macOS Catalina and later - including macOS Monterey

Impact

• Existing users will be prompted to upgrade to version 8.2.1 on October 10, 2022 if configured to do so in the WSS Portal.
• If using SAML on Windows devices, Microsoft Webview2 is required. Refer to the following KB article for more information: https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article/233577.
