This incident has been resolved.
Today (6 July 2022) from 20:00 to 20:30 PDT time we experience a period of increased latency to our US backend. Users would experience increased lag when talking to our backend API services in the US and using the user portal. The issue seems to have been caused by our efforts to scale up our infrastructure in the US, and it was resolved once we finished scaling up components of our backend to handle the new infrastructure.
