Arcot confirms to have detected an intermittent problem processing EMV3DS challenge transactions. Upon further investigation, we have noticed communication failures with the MasterCard Directory Server in the RREQ cycle impacting challenge EVM3DS transactions only. Frictionless EVM3DS transactions and 3DS1.x transactions were not impacted. MasterCard have confirmed that they noticed a problem on their side and their teams took necessary actions.
