VMware Hybrid Cloud Extension (HCX) Maintenance January 21, 2025

VMware is performing maintenance to the VMware Hybrid Cloud Extension (HCX) service beginning January 21, 2025 starting at 08:00 UTC, for a duration of 30 minutes.
Impact
During the maintenance activity:
- Customers cannot activate HCX with connect.hcx.vmware.com
- Customers cannot deploy HCX in VMware Cloud on AWS
- Customers cannot upgrade HCX Managers
- Customers cannot download HCX Manager bundles
- Authentication for customers using HCX APIs to create subscriptions or activation keys via MSP APIs will be unavailable
New HCX deployments in VMware Cloud on AWS (VMC) will be unavailable, and HCX upgrades will not function during this time. However, existing HCX installations will remain unaffected.
Following the transition of authentication technology for HCX Command & Control MSP APIs, older accounts will no longer work. For further details, please refer to this banner on Broadcom Support Portal.
