Elevated Failure Rate of Risk Assessments for Transactions


Arcot monitoring detected an elevated failure rate of Risk Assessment for transactions. Our internal teams were engaged who took recovery actions to restore the service.

2nd Occurrence 04:57 GMT - 04:59 GMT

Impact: Transaction authentication might have experienced increased latency and based on fallback rules might have been denied. If fallback processing was enabled the cardholder was challenged for transactions that would normally might not had been challenged for. If the transaction was denied in the AREQ leg or the challenge failed and if 'Attempts' processing was not available for this transaction, it was likely that the cardholder might have been prompted for another payment method.
