Broadcom is proud to announce the immediate availability of WSS Agent 9.6.1.

To download this version, sign into the Cloud SWG portal and navigate to Connectivity > WSS Agent. The download is available in the Maintenance Release(s) portion of the Installers section.

Features and Improvements

  • Adds the ability to launch Symdiag without requiring admin elevation (Windows-only)
  • Gathers additional telemetry statistics
  • Addresses customer-reported issues
  • Stability improvements

Supported Environments

  • 64-bit Windows 10 version 19H2 and later (Semi-Annual Servicing Channel) - including Windows 11
  • macOS Monterey and later - including macOS Sonoma

Impact

Existing users will be prompted to upgrade to version 9.6.1 on April 8, 2024 if the “Prompt user to update” setting is enabled on the Connectivity > WSS Agent page.
