[Cloud SWG] Rollout update: Agent Traffic Manager

Beginning on February 5th, 2024, Broadcom initiated a series of maintenance events to enable the Agent Traffic Manager (ATM). The per-tenant basis rollout was planned for a period of six weeks, until the expected completion date at the end of April. After additional consideration, Broadcom will continue the gradual rollout of the ATM, with an expected completion date of September 2024. The feature can be enabled on a per-tenant basis upon request by reaching out to atm.enablement@broadcom.com and including your tenant ID.

After it is rolled out, the ATM improves the granularity of agent traffic interception to reduce the risk associated with adopting new capabilities such as:

  • Cloud SWG
  • Cloud Firewall Service
  • DNS Proxy (to be introduced with ATM)
  • CloudSOC Gatelet Protection
  • Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)

Impact

  • ATM interception capabilities are now configurable in the new Connectivity > Agent Traffic Manager page.
  • DNS Proxy exemptions are configurable in the new Connectivity > DNS Proxy Exemptions page.
  • Some documented ATM functionality might not be enabled yet for your tenant.
