If you currently use the Echoworx Email Encryption add-in for M365 Email Security.cloud as part of the Policy Based Encryption service, then please be aware of this user-impacting issue from Echoworx:
Microsoft has recently disabled legacy Outlook Exchange tokens in some customer tenants, and this will cause the Echoworx add-in to stop loading correctly. Further details are here:
The Echoworx Add-In relies on these “Legacy Exchange Online tokens” to function properly. Impacted users may observe a broken pane with the error “Something went wrong”.
At this time we are observing some users in the same M365 tenant are not able to launch the add-in, while other users continue to function normally.
Microsoft has provided steps to re-enable “Legacy Exchange Online tokens” for any customer who uses affected add-ins:
