Update
There has been a change in the maintenance schedule and customer impact. Please take a note of the following updates:
Impact
WebFilter Database Downloads:
- Updates will be paused during the entire change window
- Products will still get new security categorization via WebPulse
- BCWF customers will automatically download a new FULL database
- We expect some bandwidth throttling to happen during this period and we expect that updates may take longer than normal
Intelligence Services Database Downloads:
- Updates will continue as normal
- We will pause updates before the first update and validate the delta update and full update before publishing these externally

- End Date/Time: June 24 2023 at 22:00 UTC
Broadcom is performing planned maintenance of WebFilter Database Downloads and Intelligence Services Database Downloads beginning
June 20, 2023 at 00:00 UTC and completing on June 21, 2023 at 23:59 UTC.
Impact
WebFilter Database Downloads:
- Updates will be paused during the maintenance window
- At the end we will remove all delta updates
- ALL customers will be need to download a new FULL database
- We expect some bandwidth throttling to happen during this period and we expect that updates may take longer than normal
Intelligence Services Database Downloads:
- Updates will continue as normal
- We will pause updates before the first update or two and validate the delta update (and full) before publishing these externally
- During this period an appliance without a database likely will not be able to get a full database update
All other aspects of our service are expected to function as normal.
