Symantec, a division of Broadcom, is performing maintenance starting on February 17, 2022 at 22:00 UTC, for a duration of 4 hours. This release of VIP Authentication Services includes the following new features:

• The VIP SDK supports the iOS arm64 simulator architecture on the latest M1 devices. You must download and implement the latest version of the VIP SDK to enable this support. See VIP Software Development Kit (SDK) Developer's Guide for information on implementing the VIP SDK.

You must upgrade to Xcode 13 to provide support for iOS M1 devices. This is an iOS requirement. See the Xcode documentation for procedures on upgrading to Xcode 13.

• The VIP integration with GINA is deprecated and has been removed from VIP Manager. • Windows 7 is deprecated and has been removed from ID Center.

For information on the new functionality introduced in this release, see the VIP Authentication Services 2022.February.01 Release Notes . Service updates occur during the first 30 minutes. The remainder of the maintenance window is used for monitoring. There is no expected downtime and end users should not experience changes when using VIP.
