The scheduled maintenance has been completed.
Scheduled maintenance is currently in progress. We will provide updates as necessary.
Starting 5 November, 2018, we will perform a service-wide deployment of the Web Security Service 6.10.4.2 release, completing on 7 December, 2018. During this maintenance event all services will remain operational and available.
Note: For a list of resolved issues that are included in this release, please review the release notes. Please visit the Trust Page for periodic updates.
New Features and Enhancements: • CASB Gatelet integration: Leverage WSS to process CASB Gatelet traffic and apply deep cloud-applications controls • Self-Managed Certificates: Use your own AWS hosted HSM and sub-ordinate CA for SSL/TLS traffic decryption on WSS
Impact The following describes what happens to connected clients, depending on access method used:
• Explicit proxy / Unified Agent / Proxy Forwarding: The service automatically redirects connections to active data pods within the same data center or geographic location. This is for information only, and the customer does not need to take any action. • IPSec: A short fail-over delay may occur as the load balancer directs traffic to another active data pod within the data center. This is for information only, and the customer does not need to take any action*.
*The creation of a backup tunnel to another data center (if not already configured) prior to the deployment is recommended for customers connecting to Oslo and Tel Aviv.
Service Impact This maintenance will be performed on all data pods within the service. Data Pods will be upgraded in rotation, preserving service at each data center at all times*.
*Oslo, and Tel Aviv will remain down while being upgraded.
Schedule The maintenance window will run from 5 November, 2018, through 7 December, 2018. All maintenance will occur between 18:00 and 06:00 local data center time.
