As previously communicated on April 5, 2019, the Symantec Web Security Service Team is pleased to announce the move from our Zurich data center to a new data center, also in Zurich. This new data center will come online today, April 15, 2019, and we will have a 60-day transition window during which both data centers will be available. The VIP for the new Zurich data center is:

Zurich will retrieve content using the following source IP network:

Connections relying on DNS or Symantec's Cloud Traffic Controller, such as Unified Agent or Proxy connections to will automatically be switched over to use the new data center on April 23, 2019.

Customer Action If connectivity from your network to the Web Security Service is regulated by firewall rules, these rules must be adjusted to allow traffic to pass to the new VIP. In addition, please ensure that any sourced-based access controls applied by you or your vendors are updated to reflect the new source IP network to ensure WSS traffic can pass unencumbered.

Customers connecting via IPSec may connect to the new VIP immediately. The old VIP will only be available for the next 60 days and will be decommissioned on June 14, 2019.
