Scheduled

The Symantec Web Security Service Team is pleased to announce a new point of presence in Turin which will come online today, February 26 2019.

The VIP for Turin is: 148.64.23.164

Turin will retrieve content using the following source IP network:

  • 148.64.23.0/24 Connections relying on DNS or Symantec's Cloud Traffic Controller, such as Unified Agent or Proxy connections to proxy.threatpulse.net, will automatically be switched over to use Turin on March 12, 2019.

Customer Action If connectivity from your network(s) to the Web Security Service is regulated by firewall rules, these rules must be adjusted to allow traffic to pass to the new VIP. In addition, please ensure that any sourced-based access controls applied by you or your vendors are updated to reflect the new source IP network (listed above) to ensure WSS traffic can pass unencumbered.

Customers connecting via IPSec may connect to the new VIP immediately.
