Between 0905 GMT and 1227 GMT on 22 September 2020, Arcot for Issuers - Transaction Manager service experienced a problem where 3D Secure 1.0.2 challenge transactions failed with a status of ‘Unavailable’. 3D Secure 1.0.2 frictionless transactions were unaffected. There was no impact to EMV 3DS transactions. The problem was found to be caused due to Transaction Manager ACS not being able to connect with callouts that make API calls to Issuer backends in order to perform certain operations for cardholder authentication flow.
