Broadcom will modify Agent Traffic Manager (ATM) functionality for all Cloud SWG tenants on December 6th, 2024 to improve the usefulness of the feature:

  • For Traffic Intercept Rules: The source conditions for IPs/Subnets will be replaced with a new source condition that combines Location and Egress IPs/Subnets (similar to the current implementation already available in Passive Agent Rules). When Egress IPs and Locations are combined, OR logic will be used.
  • For Traffic Bypass Rules: Adding ability to define a rule with a source condition of Egress IP (which can be combined with a Location using OR logic)

In the current version of ATM, IPs/Subnets could be combined with Locations using AND logic, which was less useful in real-world use cases.
