Broadcom is proud to announce the immediate availability of WSS Agent 9.8.2.

To download this version, sign into the Cloud SWG portal and navigate to Connectivity > Agent Settings. The download is available in the Maintenance Releases portion of the Agent Installers section.

Resolved Issues

• Per-user Agent Traffic Manager rules are now properly retrieved when pre-auth rules are still being downloaded during a SAML session restore.
• The agent now handles telemetry service failures more gracefully.
• SAML authentication checks are not sent until after the tunnel is fully connected.
• Block notifications are now properly displayed when the agent is installed with AU=unauthenticated.
• (Windows only) Background SymDiag updates no longer block SAML authentication windows from being displayed.
• (macOS only) Tunnels are no longer reconnected when the OS reports a full transmit queue buffer.
• (macOS only) DNS resolution is inspected correctly when port 53 is bypassed in Agent Traffic Manager.
• Stability and security improvements.
